We have named this property the "Chapel
Property" because included with the land is a small chapel
built in 1952 and dedicated to Agios Stratis - one of the titles
given to the Archangel Michael as the soldier constantly battling
against evil.
The plot is 4,500 m2 situated above Stoupa at Gonatsa, 800
m from the main road between Stoupa and Neochori so you have
the privacy of a large plot 'in the wild' and the convenience
of easy access to the beaches and resort facilities of Stoupa,
Agios Nikolaos and Kardamyli. We own the plot which is defined
by an old perimeter wall.
There are some olive trees and oak trees
and in former times, wheat was grown on the terraces - some
of which are made from old, large stones which give an impression
of an ancient and continuous tenure. This, coupled with the
mountain views behind and the coastline below, make this a
very romantic site.
