Location

A plot of 21.201m2 with planning permission for 4.240 m2 situated on a flat-topped ridge overlooking the Outer Mani coastline between Kardamyli and Stoupa. Accessible only by the road made for that purpose.

  1. The isolated location ensures privacy and peace and quiet.
  2. The elevated location ensures that the all-round vistas of sea, coastline and mountains remain unspoiled – they cannot be obscured by future developments.
  3. The site is most appropriate for a sensitive development that blends in architecturally with the environment and the traditional architecture of the region rather than assaults the landscape.
  4. The location demands a tourist facility built to high standards of quality and design.
  5. Proximity of the site to all the facilities and beaches of the resort towns, the Mani peninsula and sites of the Peloponnese offers a wide freedom of choice to Frangia residents.
  6. The success of a very small up-market (for the region) hotel in Gerolimenas in the south of Mani has proved that, given an improvement in quality, city-dwelling Greeks on high incomes are willing to travel further afield for their relaxation and are willing to pay for the privilege.
