Alonia House - Underfloor Heating

The Installation Process

1. A screed from cement and sand to level the surface of the concrete slab.
2. A special tape, 150mm x 5mm is attached on the walls; this will take care of the extension gap.
3. The pieces from foamed polystyrene, 45mm thick are placed accordingly to drawings.
4. The pipes, 17mm, are layed accordingly to drawings - as in photo above.
5. Within every threshold a slim polystyrene slab (150mm x 10mm) is placed, later to be removed and the gap will be filled with     silicon (extension gap)
6. A screed (45mm) made from red river sand and cement will cover the underfloor heating.
7. It will have to work (about 40C) for 3 weeks to get rid of all humidity. Only then :
8. We will clue on the surface our slabs of fine Egyptian limestone (0,78m x 0,39m).
9. All expansion gaps will be filled & closed with a special silicon.
